This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 months from 04.10.2025 to 03.10.2026 in the two references pending before the Arbitral Tribunal for the conclusion of arbitral proceedings between the parties. 2.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that issue is complex in nature and the record is voluminous and hence, the delay in completion of the proceedings.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondent. 4.

Ms. Rani, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 12 months from 04.10.2025 in both the references to make and publish the award. 7.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
