The limited grievance of the petitioner is that the second appeal filed by the petitioner before the Central Information Commission (CIC)/respondent no. 1 bearing File No. CIC/UBIND/A/2025/125551 be decided in an expeditious manner.

This Court is not inclined to control the scheduling / calendar of matters before the CIC. It is for the CIC to regulate its own calendar. However, considering the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to mention the matter before the appropriate bench which is seized of the aforesaid second appeal with a request to take up the same for consideration as expeditiously as possible.
