Writ Petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of B.N.S.S. has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for directing Respondents to provide protection to Petitioners' life and liberty. 2.

Issue Notice. Learned ASC for the State appears on advance Notice and accepts Notice.

It is submitted that the Petitioners got married on 12.09.2025 according to Hindu rites and ceremonies at the Arya Samaj Mandir, Badiyal Mohalla, Palam Village, New Delhi. However, thereafter, the parties went to their respective homes and did not disclose the factum of their marriage to their family members.

Eventually, Petitioner No.1 sent intimation/complaint to SHO, PS: Shahin Bagh, Delhi on 13.09.2025 and a Complaint to SHO, PS: Baghpat, U.P. on 15.09.2025.

threat to their life and liberty.

Learned ASC for the State submits that an FIR No.0556/2025 under Section 87 BNS has been registered at PS: Baghpat, U.P. against Petitioner No.2 and U.P. Police has been visiting for apprehension of Petitioner No.2. Therefore, Delhi Police cannot prevent/stop U.P. Police from visiting in accordance with law.

Considering the submissions made, no interim protection, as sought by Petitioner No.2 can be given. However, protection is granted to Petitioners from Respondents Nos.3 to 5.

Accordingly, Respondent No.1 is directed to provide mobile numbers of Beat Constable and SHO of PS concerned to Petitioner No.1 to ensure that nothing untoward happens to her.

No further directions are warranted.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
