The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus thereby directing the respondent no.1 to perform its duty in accordance with law and give the protection to the petitioners. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition as the prayer is not in the nature of Habeas Corpus but only for protection to the petitioners, with liberty to file petition before the appropriate forum.
