This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.315/2016 under Sections 308/452/506/34 IPC registered with Kirti Nagar basis settlement arrived at between the parties on 28th April 2024. 2.

Petitioner nos.1 and 2 and respondent no. 2 (complainant) are present in Court and are duly identified by IO and the respective counsels. 3.

Respondent no.2 states that he has been adequately compensated for his treatment and does not wish to pursue the FIR any further, since the petitioners are known to him and altercation arose out of some quarrel, which has since been resolved. He further states that he has no objection to quashing of the FIR.

continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed.

Consequently, the FIR No.315/2016 under Sections 308/452/506/34 IPC registered with Kirti Nagar and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed subject to petitioners rendering community service at Bangla Sahib Gurdrawa and they shall also contribute towards langar for about 25 under privileged children within a period of 3 weeks. Affidavit of compliance along with photographs, be filed within 2 weeks thereafter. 6.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
