1. After some arguments, learned counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant may be granted additional time to pay the arrears in terms of the impugned order.

He further prays that it may also be clarified that the payment of interim maintenance by the appellant would remain subject to outcome of the pending HMA petition.

2. In the light of this limited prayer made by the appellant, we dispose of the appeal along with pending applications as not pressed by extending the time granted to the appellant to pay arrears of maintenance to the respondent in terms of the impugned order. Consequently, the appellant will pay 50% of the amount payable towards arrears of maintenance on or before 31.12.2024 and the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. remaining 50% amount on or before 31.03.2025. The appellant will, however, continue to pay current monthly maintenance as per the impugned order. Furthermore, it is clarified that the payment of this amount to the respondent will remain subject to outcome of the pending HMA petition.
