There is no merit in the appeal.

Maintenance awarded in sum of `20,000/- per month to the wife commences from the month of December, 2013. When she sought execution arrears upto May, 2016 has accumulated. Appellant paid `3.5 lacs. Calculated @ `20,000/- per month for a period of thirty months, the amount payable was `6 lacs.

Any amount paid by the appellant prior to December, 2013 towards maintenance and education of the child born to the parties has rightly been held by the learned Judge Family Court to be not adjustable. MAT.APP.(F.C.) 34/2017

The appeal is dismissed in linine but without any order as to costs. CM No.7695/2017 Dismissed as infructuous.
