The present petition has been filed under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. 4.

The arbitration proceedings are in the context of a contract for pipe laying from Jaigarh to Dabhol and all related works at SV Stations for the Western Gateway Project ("Pipeline Works") and for composite works at jetty and Jaigarh Terminal and at Dabhol Terminal for Western Gateway Project ("Composite Works").
