% 16.05.2017 It was pointed out that the petitioner neither shows the ownership of the suit land nor the manner in which it claims interest. In this regard, learned counsel for the respondent pointed out the award to say that neither the petitioner nor those from whom he claims, had ever participated in the proceedings or claimed any compensation. It was further submitted that the possession of these lands was taken in 1983. He further submitted that some part of the land claimed by the petitioner, in fact, belonged to Gaunsabha.

Having regard to the submissions made, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw the writ petition and file fresh proceedings on behalf of those entitled to do so, with all necessary particulars.
