This petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.15/2018, dated 14th January 2018 under Section 420/34 IPC registered at PS Mandawli Fazalpur, on the basis of settlement dated 3rd July 2023, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioner nos.1-4 are present through VC and respondent no.2 is present in Court; all of them are duly identified by the IO and the counsel. 3.

Counsel for complainant/respondent no.2 states that they have settled the matter with respect to petitioner nos.1 to 4 in the present petition and in view of the settlement, have no objection to quashing of FIR with respect to petitioner nos.1 to 4.

continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, FIR No.15/2018, dated 14th January 2018 under Section 420/34 IPC registered at PS Mandawli Fazalpur and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed qua petitioner nos. 1 to 4.

As regards other accused persons with whom settlement has not been arrived at, the proceedings shall continue qua them. 6.

Parties in this petition shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
