The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) seeking quashing of the FIR No. 257/2020 registered under Sections 332/461 of Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 (Act of 1957) at Police Station Saket, Delhi ('subject FIR').

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the Trial Court has vide order dated 12.12.2024 declined to take cognizance of the proceedings emanating from subject FIR in Case No. 8017 of 2022 titled State v. Gyan Sejwal.
2.1. He states that in view of the subsequent events, the reliefs sought in the present petition does not survive for consideration and he therefore, seeks liberty to withdraw the present petition.
