The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No. 0580/2016 under Sections 420/34 of the IPC registered with P.S. Madhu Vihar and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed. The said FIR was registered at the instance of the respondent no. 2 company through its director (Mr. Bali Ram Singh).

The present petition is premised on a settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2.

Mr. Abhishek Gupta is present in Court and states that he is authorized to act on behalf of respondent no.2 company. The Investigating Officer also confirms the above and states that a Letter of Authority by
respondent no. 2 company in favour of Mr. Abhishek Gupta is available on his file.
Mr. Gupta states that respondent no. 2 has resolved all its grievances with the petitioners and does not wish to pursue the FIR in question. He further states that the parties have entered into a settlement on 25.02.2017 and all their disputes were resolved in terms of the said settlement.

The petitioners are present in Court and are identified by their counsel. The petitioners confirm that they have settled their disputes with respondent no. 2 and they have no grievance against respondent no. 2. 5.
In view of the aforesaid statements made by the petitioners and Mr. Abhishek Gupta on behalf of respondent no. 2, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition.

Accordingly, FIR No. 580/2016 under Sections 420/34 of the IPC registered with P.S. Madhu Vihar and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.

The petitioners and Mr. Abhishek Gupta (on behalf of respondent no.
2) shall sign this order as an acknowledgement of their statements recorded herein.
