Writ Petition under Section 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking grant of Furlough for a period of two weeks in FIR No. 0942/1997 under Sections 302/308/34 IPC at P.S. Rajouri Garden. 2.

It is submitted that the Application for Furlough has been filed on 12.09.2025 on account of engagement of his son on 27.09.2025. 3.

Learned Counsel on behalf of the State submits that there is a technical difficulty as the Furlough obtained earlier one, has expired only on 19.09.2025 after which only, the Petitioner becomes eligible for applying the Furlough.

Respondent is directed to decide the Application by 26.09.2025. The Petition is accordingly disposed of.
