The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of appropriate orders/directions against the respondent no.1 and 2, to act on the recommendations of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) dated 18.06.2025 under rule 8(4) of University Grants Commission (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in Higher Educational institutions) Regulations, 2015. 2.

Learned counsel for respondent no.2/Ramjas College submits that pursuant to receipt of the recommendations from the ICC, the governing body has taken a decision to terminate the services of the concerned professor and a communication in this regard has been sent to the University for necessary action / further steps.

In the circumstances, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1/Delhi University to urgently consider the matter and take requisite steps pursuant to receipt of the aforesaid decision The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
