The present petition has been filed by the petitioner inter-alia seeking as under:

"a. To issue an order directing the respondent to allow for renewal of the license no.nwna/12/1999/82 endorsed with 32 bore revolver no. fg 44641 under the section 18 of the arms act." 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, submits that the petitioner's representation seeking the same relief is still under active consideration by the Joint Commissioner of Police, Delhi Police.

It further transpires during the course of hearing that the petitioner has also invoked the appellate jurisdiction of the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, seeking similar relief.

In the circumstances, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to expeditiously decide the representation of the petitioner by way of a reasoned order.

Let the same be done within a period of four weeks from today. 6.
