These writ petitions are pending in this Court for the last 20 years. On 28.08.2016, the Government was directed that in the event the seniority in the cadre of Upper Divisional Clerk ('UDC') is to be revised, the erstwhile period of substantive appointed of the applicant as UDC would have to be reckoned for the purpose of seniority. 2.

The Respondents on attaining the age of superannuation, retired in the year 2005 and 2007, respectively.

There is no representation on behalf of the Respondents. 4.

The present writ petitions are disposed of with liberty to the Petitioners to file application for revival, if the Respondents come forward for implementation of the impugned order. Pending application also stands disposed of.
