These petitions have been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.378/2020 PS Mandawali under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC & Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and FIR No.174/2021 PS Madhu Vihar under Sections 354(a)/354(b)/323/506/509/34 IPC basis settlement arrived at on 17th August, 2023, which is on record of this Court. 2.

The respective complainant and the petitioners are present in Court except Ram Ratan Singh, who is senior citizen, is present through VC. parties are duly identified by the IO.

Complainant has no objection to the quashing of the said FIRs. 4.

The final outstanding balance of Rs.1 Lac has been tendered to the complainant, who has received it, and she acknowledges the same. 5.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.378/2020 PS Mandawali under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC & Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and FIR No.174/2021 PS Madhu Vihar under Sections 354(a)/354(b)/323/506/509/34 IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 7.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
