The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that the petitioner has filed the suit for ejectment, recovery of arrears of rent, damages and mesne profits against the respondent who was inducted as a tenant in the shop in question.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the suit was filed in and he submits that despite lapse of years, the respondents/defendants are repeatedly filing the applications to delay the disposal of the suit. He submits that even till date the evidence of the petitioner has not been completed.

The history of the suit does not show a good track record. The trial CM(M) 231/2017

court is requested to expeditiously complete the evidence of the parties and dispose of the suit preferably within 12 months from the date of the receipt of the copy of this order. Frivolous applications which are repeatedly being filed should be discouraged. None of the parties should be granted adjournment other than in emergent circumstances. 4.

With the above observations, the present petition stands disposed of. 5.
