Through this application, the Applicant seeks early disposal of the instant petition. For the grounds and reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and with the consent of counsel for the parties, the main writ petition is called up on Board today itself. Accordingly, the present application is allowed and disposed of. W.P.(CRL) 2563/2023 6.

Mr. Salman Khurshid, Senior Counsel for the Petitioner, points out that this Court, by order dated 05th May, 2025 in W.P.(CRL) 3126/2023, has quashed the impugned FIR bearing No. RC2202023E00011 dated 17th January, 2023, registered at P.S. EO-II, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom. He submits that the Petitioner herein, Ms. Megha Sethi, is also one of the co-accused in the said impugned FIR and the limited role ascribed to her is only with regards to her being an Additional Director in the accused company - M/s Ritzy Chemicals Pvt. Ltd., for a short duration of time between 27th February, 2015 to 29th September, 2015. Therefore, in light of the fact that the impugned FIR itself has been quashed, Mr. Khurshid prays that the present case be also disposed of in terms of the order dated 5th May, 2025 passed in W.P.(CRL) No. 3126/2023.

The Court has considered the submissions urged on behalf of the Petitioner. In the opinion of this Court, considering the fact that the impugned FIR, which forms the basis of the proceedings against the Petitioner in the capacity of a director, has itself been quashed, there is no legal basis to sustain any further proceedings qua the Petitioner. 8.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that the proceedings emanating in FIR No. RC2202023E0001 dated 17th January, 2023 under Sections 420, 406 & 120B IPC as well as Section 7(C) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, registered at P.S. EO-II Delhi, against the Petitioner also stands quashed.

Petitioner by the Union Bank of India as well as Central Bureau of Investigation, in relation to the impugned FIR, also stands quashed. 10.
