O R D E R

% 24.04.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 6 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, FIR no. 263/2014 under Sections 323/341/352/506/34 IPC registered at police station Badarpur on the complaint of respondent no. 2 and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.

Respondent nos. 2 to 6 are present in Court along with their counsel and have been identified by ASI Tulli Ram of police station Badarpur. Respondent nos. 2 to 6 admit having settled the matter with petitioners of their own free will, voluntarily and without any

undue force, pressure or coercion and they have no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioners. Affidavits of respondent nos. 2 to 6 are also on record, wherein they have stated that with the intervention of respectable persons and family friends, they have settled the matter with the petitioners and they do not wish to pursue the matter any further. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 6, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 263/2014 under Sections 323/341/352/506/34 IPC registered at police station Badarpur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
