1. Counsel for the Respondents has placed before the Court a communication dated 21st May 2019, which sets out the intimation received from the IG, CRPF, Jammu, that consequent upon reinstatement, the Petitioner was in fact paid the full pay and allowances with effect from 10th July, 1991, and the interregnum period, till the date of his retirement i.e. 26th August, 2009, was in fact counted for the purposes of pensionary benefits.

2. Consequently, the question of granting the Petitioner disability pension from 1991 onwards does not arise. No further directions are called for.

3. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
