% 03.05.2018 In spite of service of notice, none appears for the respondents. The Interim Order dated 01.03.2018 is extended for a further period as provided under Section 9(2) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 within which time the petitioner must take steps to have the arbitration proceedings initiated, failing which the Interim Order shall stand vacated. In case the arbitration proceedings are initiated, the Interim Order dated 01.03.2018 shall continue during such proceedings, however, the respondent shall be at liberty to file an appropriate application seeking modification / vacation / variation of the Interim Order dated 01.03.2018. It is made clear that in case any such application is filed, the same shall be considered by the Arbitral Tribunal uninfluenced by any observations made by this Court in its Interim Order dated 01.03.2018 or today's Order. The petition is disposed of with the above directions and with no order as to costs.
