O R D E R

The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.764/2014 registered under Sections 392/323/354/397/506/34 IPC at P.S. Madhu Vihar, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners harassed and threatened the complainant.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there are three accused persons who have been chargesheeted, however, the petition has been filed only by the present petitioners and the third accused namely, Saira Aneesh has filed a separate petition being CRL.M.C. 7725/2024, which is coming up for consideration on 13.12.2024. Learned APP for the State submits that in the present case, the petitioners are the accused persons and respondent No.2 is the complainant/victim. He confirms the aforesaid position. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have entered into a settlement vide Settlement Agreement dated 14.05.2024 and in terms of the settlement, respondent No.2 does not wish to pursue any legal action against the present petitioners herein and is now left with no claims or grievances whatsoever against the present petitioners. 6.

The petitioners, who are present in Court, have been identified by their counsel as well as by the Investigating Officer. Respondent No.2, who is present in the Court, has also been identified by the Investigating Officer. 7.

The petitioners have shown remorse for their conduct and undertake to not repeat the same in future. Respondent No.2 states that she has entered into the aforesaid Settlement Agreement with the present petitioners out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion. She further states that she has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed against the present petitioners and even qua the other remaining accused.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

With the above directions, the petition is disposed of alongwith the pending applications.
