This petition seeks quashing of FIR No.345/2017, registered at P.S Kirti Nagar under Sections 406/420/506/120- B IPC, on the basis of a settlement arrived at between the parties dated 15th March 2024, which is on record of this Court.

Petitioners and respondent no. 2 are present through VC along with their respective counsels; all of them are duly identified by IO. 3.
Counsel for respondent no.2 states that amounts of settlement have been duly received and there is no objection to quashing of the FIR. 4.
Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.345/2017, registered at P.S Kirti Nagar under Sections 406/420/506/120- B IPC and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
