% 07.11.2017 CM No. 40037/2017 1.

None appears for the petitioners.

2.

The petitioners have filed the present application seeking to withdraw the present petition on the ground that the petitioners' pension have been withheld on account of pendency of the present petition. 3.

Mr Anish Gupta, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 on instruction of Mr K.D. Singh, AR (Joint Secretary General, YAI) states that the petitioners have been employed with the Haryana Police, however, they would still be entitled to sportsmen's pension, if they give up active participation as a sports person.

He states that since the petitioners were pursuing the present petition to actively participate in the sports of yachting, they had not applied for such pension. He states that once the present

petition is disposed of, the petitioners would be entitled for such pension and this is the principal reason why the petitioners seeks to withdraw the present petition.

4.

In view of the above, the application is allowed and the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
