The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be given to the Delhi Commission for Women to immediately undertake the case of the petitioner and ensure her safety and security. The petitioner also prays that action be taken against a certain police official and an order be passed restraining him from being involved in any manner with the petitioner or her family.

It is seen that the petitioner has made several allegations in the petition, including that certain property dealers have threatened to kill her and have also stolen valuables belonging to her. 3.

In this regard, the Delhi Police has filed a status report indicating that inquiries have been made in respect of each of the allegations made in the present petition. They have also indicated their findings in this regard. In

this view, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition. It is, however, clarified that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which the inquiry has been done or on account of non registration of an FIR, she is at liberty to take recourse to appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the allegations made in the petition. 5.

Mr Narayan, learned counsel appearing for the Delhi Police assures this Court that if a complaint is made in future, necessary inquiries shall be made as required in law.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations. The pending application stands disposed of.
