The present petition has been filed under Section 29-A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents on advance notice does not oppose the aforesaid request. It is stated by the counsel that the judgment in the award has been reserved by the Arbitral Tribunal. 3.
Accordingly, the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended for a period of three (3) months.

Counsel for the parties submit that the mandate had otherwise expired on 15th September, 2025.

The period from the said date till today is also regularised. 6.
