The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that the petitioner had filed an application for grant of furlough before the competent authority on 28.08.2025; however, the same has yet not been decided.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition and further prays that the competent authority be directed to decide his application for grant of furlough expeditiously. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, the competent authority is directed to decide the application of the petitioner herein, within a period of ten days from date, in accordance with law.
