The present has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) seeks for issuing an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing the respondents to immediately register an FIR against the accused persons under Sections 117 (2) / 126 (2) / 351 (3) / 3 (5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS). 3.

The learned ASC, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, submits that the FIR in the present case has been registered as FIR No. 464/2025, dated 16.09.2025.

It is further submitted by the learned ASC that the application seeking preservation of the CCTV footage has already been moved before the concerned authority.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner, in view of the submissions made by the learned ASC, prays that the present petition be disposed of.
