This is a petition seeking quashing of FIR no. 0019/2025 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, registered at PS Farsh Bazar and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

Petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and sister-in-law. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegations against the petitioners are vague in nature. There is no specific allegations qua them, and, prima-facie no offence is made out, and, therefore the FIR is liable to be quashed.

11.01.2025 and the matter is still under investigation. She further states that statement of complainant under Section 161 Cr.P.C. is yet to be recorded. According to her, petition for quashing is premature. 5.

In rebuttal, learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner no. 2 who is presently residing in Canada is being physically harassed to join investigation in person.

At this stage, learned APP under instructions from the Investigating Officer states that the investigating agency has no objection in case petitioner no. 2 may join the investigation through video conferencing as and when directed.

In view of the aforesaid, Mr. Shubham Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners does not want to press the petition for quashing and seeks permission to withdraw the same.

The statement made by learned counsel is taken on record and petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
