Counsel for petitioner states that the appeal has been filed under Section 112 (1) (q) of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act 2003, which can be treated as one under Section 70 of the said Act. 2.

That being so, since the Registrar under the statute viz. Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 2003 has the power to exercise the jurisdiction under Section 70 of the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act 2003, we deem it appropriate to direct the said Authority to decide the claim of the petitioner, as is sought to be canvassed through the proceedings at page no. 37 expeditiously and in any case within a period of 6 months from today. 3.

The petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. 4.
