The applicant seeks anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No. 268/2024 dated 28.08.2024, registered at Police Station Sunlight Colony, District South East, Delhi, under Sections 420/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, and Sections 10/24 of the Emigration Act, 1983. 4.

The applicant was granted interim protection by an interim order of this Court dated 23.09.2025.

Ms. Manjeet Arya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submits that the applicant has joined the investigation. There is no allegation of non-cooperation against him.

In the meanwhile, Mr. Sameer Chandra, learned counsel for the applicant, states that the applicant and co-accused Anjali have entered into a settlement with the complainant. A copy of the Memorandum of Understanding dated 21.02.2026 is handed up in Court and taken on record.

The complainant is present in person. He states that he wishes to appear in person and does not seek the assistance of counsel. 9.
The complainant is identified by the Investigating Officer ["IO"], and his statement is recorded separately, confirming the factum of settlement. He states that he has no objection to the applicant being granted anticipatory bail.

In view of the above, the application is disposed of with the direction that, in the event of arrest in connection with the aforesaid FIR, the applicant shall be released on bail upon furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the IO/Duty Magistrate, and subject to the following conditions:

d. The applicant shall not commit any offence during pendency of these proceedings.
