Pursuant to the previous order dated 22nd October, 2024, the revalidated draft of Rs. 2 lacs as a final outstanding balance is being tendered vide DD no. 067278 drawn on Central Bank of India dated 23rd October, 2024. Respondent no.2 has received the same in Court. 2.
This petition was filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 169/2022 PS South Rohini under Sections 509, 511, 34, 323, 354, 341, 354(B) of IPC on basis of a settlement arrived at between the parties through mediation dated 06th May, 2022.

Respondent no. 2 has no objection to the quashing of the FIR. 4.
Petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2/complainant are present before this Court and duly identified by the IO and their respective counsels. 5.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 169/2022 under Sections 509, 511, 34, 323, 354, 341, 354(B) of IPC registered at PS South Rohini and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 7.
Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 8.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
