The present petition has been filed under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by twelve (12) months. 2.
Notice in the present petition was issued on 24th September 2025. 3.
Counsel appears on behalf of the respondent and submits that he has no objection if the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended. 4.
In view of the aforesaid, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a further period of twelve (12) months from today. 5.
Counsel for the parties submit that the mandate had otherwise expired on 3rd December, 2024.
