The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 29 A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, inter alia, praying that the time for making the award be extended for a further period till 30.09.2018. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the time may be

extended up to 30.10.2018 as that is the request made by the Arbitral Tribunal. She states that the matter is at the stage of final hearing. In this view, the petition is allowed and the time for making the award is extended up to 30.10.2018.
