The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 23/2025 under Sections 75/78/79/351 BNS registered at P.S. North Avenue, New Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, on the ground that the parties have arrived at a settlement.

The petitioners, as well as, respondent no. 2 are present in Court and they have been identified by their respective counsels, as well as, by investigating officer SI Pradeep Kumar, PS-North Avenue. 6.

The brief facts of the case are that the marriage between son of petitioner no.3 and respondent no. 2 was solemnized on 17.01.2019 according to Hindu Rites and Customs. Thereafter, husband of respondent no.2 expired on 30.10.2022 and she was allegedly harassed by the petitioners. On the complaint of respondent no.2, the present FIR came to be registered.

During pendency of the proceedings the parties were referred to the Delhi Mediation Centre, Patiala House Court, where they have arrived at a settlement, terms whereof were reduced in writing in the form of settlement dated 09.07.2025, copy of which is annexed as Annexure-P3 to the present petition.

It is a term of the settlement between the parties that the petitioners shall transfer in favour of respondent no.2, the property bearing Khasra Nos. 1175, K Ch Sithgram, Asalatpur, Pargana, Loni, Tehsil Zila Ghaziabad, since the property was jointly owned by petitioner no.3/Smt. Kamlesh, as well as, deceased husband of respondent no.2. Further it is agreed that the petitioners and their family members shall have no right in the aforesaid property and shall not interfere in the peaceful possession of the said property. The transfer of said property shall be in full and final settlement of all claims of the respondent no.2 including streedhan, Maintenance (Past, Present, future) any right in the properties. 9.

is quashed.

In view of the fact that the parties have arrived at a settlement, no useful purpose will be served in continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them.

It is, thus, in the interest of justice that the present FIR and all the other proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed. 12.

Consequently, the petition is allowed and the FIR No. 23/2025 under Sections 75/78/79/351 BNS registered at P.S. North Avenue, New Delhi alongwith all other proceedings emanating therefrom, is quashed. 13.

The petition stands disposed of in the above terms. 14.
