By way of present petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR bearing no. 634/2022, registered at Police Station Mohan Garden, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 308/323/341/506/509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter „IPC‟). 2.

The petitioner and respondent nos. 2 to 4 are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsels and concerned Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Mohan Garden, Delhi. 3.

Briefly stated, facts of the present case are that on 15.11.2022, the mother of the petitioner was abusing respondent no.3 at about 9 PM. Further, in due course of time, the petitioner and respondent no.2 had also come out of their houses and during the course of fight, the petitioner had hit respondent no.2 and 3 with hocky stump. Based on the aforesaid event, the present FIR was registered on 17.11.2022 against the petitioner under the relevant sections.

It is stated that both the parties have amicably settled the present matter vide Compromise Deed dated 17.09.2025, entered between them. 5.

On a query made by this Court, respondent nos.2 to 4, who have been identified by the concerned IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated by respondent nos. 2 to 4 that the entire dispute has been amicably settled between the parties. A demand draft bearing no. 302327, dated 02.08.2025, drawn on Punjab National Bank, in the sum of Rs.3,00,000/-, has been handed over to respondent nos. 2 to 4 in Court today. Respondent nos. 2 to 4 further state that they have no objection if the present FIR is quashed.

In view of the above fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 7.

Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 634/2022, registered at Police Station Mohan Garden, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 308/323/341/506/509 of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to payment of costs of Rs.10,000/- The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
