Present public interest petition has been filed seeking issuance of directions to the respondents to establish a compulsory registration system for all beauty parlours and wellness centres operating in Delhi and to mandate that all beauty practitioners undergo standardized certification and training, especially in non-invasive procedures which use chemicals, and to ensure that operators who do not comply with such certifications are barred from offering services.

Since the issue raised in the present petition pertains to the policy decision, this Court directs the Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to treat the present writ petition as a representation and to decide the same in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
