The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:

"i) Issue writ in the nature of mandamus and directing the respondent to release/refund amount of Rs. 35,36,199alongwith due interest upto the date of its actual payment."

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner has since received the amount of refund, however, he states that there is some deficiency as far as interest is concerned. He requests that the present petition be disposed of by reserving the right of the petitioner to pursue its remedies in respect of the deficient interest. 3.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed.
