Through the present writ petition, the Petitioner seeks inter-alia directions to the Respondents to extend the money lending license already granted to the Petitioner by the Punjab Government to the territory of Delhi under the Money Lenders Act, 19381.

Counsel for the Petitioner points out that in an earlier writ petition filed by the Petitioner being W.P.(C) 16632/2022, this Court, through order dated 05th December, 2022, has already granted the said relief to the Petitioner, directing the SDM (Rajouri Garden) to process the application of the Petitioner and take a decision on the same within three months. However, he states that till today no action has been taken by the Respondents to this effect, thereby constraining the Petitioner to file the present writ petition.

that he shall initiate other appropriate legal remedies for seeking compliance of the Court's directions and accordingly, requests for withdrawal of the present writ petition.
