The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- "a. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent to release the petitioner on furlough for a period of 04 weeks.

b. Pass any other order or orders, which this Hon'ble Court deemed fit and proper in the interest of justice;" 2.

Heard.

During the arguments, learned ASC for the State, appearing on advance notice, submitted that the competent authority has already passed the order dated 22nd October, 2024, rejecting the application of the petitioner herein seeking release on parole. before this Court as well as handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner. The same is taken on record.

At this juncture, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to challenge the aforesaid rejection order in accordance with law.

In view of the above, leave granted. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the rejection order dated 22nd October, 2024 passed by the competent authority in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid direction, the petition stands disposed of. 7.

Pending applications, if any, also stand dismissed.
