The Petitioner is a convict serving life sentence in case FIR No. 81/2010, under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal code, 1860, registered at P.S. Sadar Bazar.

The limited prayer of the Petitioner is that his name be considered for premature release by the Sentence Review Board. It is submitted that the Petitioner has completed 15 years of incarceration and is therefore entitled to be considered for pre-mature release under the Delhi Prison Rules, 2018. 3.

Without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the Respondents to consider the Petitioner's case, and if found eligible, forward to the Sentence Review Board in accordance with the Delhi Prison Rules The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
