The present petition has been filed by the petitioner against an ex parte order dated 11.09.2025, passed by the Additional District Magistrate (North-West District), Delhi, on a complaint filed by the respondent no.2 under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

By way of the order dated 11.09.2025, the Additional District Magistrate has directed the petitioner to pay Rs. 4,000/- as maintenance to the senior citizens/parents of the petitioner till their lifetime to fulfil their basic needs.

Further, the petitioner has been restrained from interfering with the peaceful life of the senior citizens.

Prima facie, no fault can be found with the aforesaid directions. In the circumstances, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the aforesaid directions of the Additional District Magistrate, while leaving it open to the petitioner to pursue the prescribed appellate remedy. 8.
