This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator upto 28.02.2026. 2.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Purchase Order dated 12.10.2018 and contract agreement dated 05.11.2018, Petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act in this Court being ARB.P.1064/2022 seeking appointment of a Sole Arbitrator, which was allowed on 14.08.2023 appointing a Sole Arbitrator. Aggrieved by the order dated 14.08.2023, Respondent filed an SLP (Civil) bearing No. 2796/2023 before the Supreme Court, which was allowed on 04.03.2024 setting aside order of High Court and appointing another Sole Arbitrator. Sole Arbitrator has expired on 18.09.2025. It is stated that award has been reserved on 09.09.2025 for pronouncement.

Mr. Azmat H. Amanullah, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator. 5.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended upto 31.12.2025 from 19.09.2025. 6.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
