1. These are petitions seeking quashing of the following FIRs:- A.FIR bearing No. 0182 of 2022 under section 4 of Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019, PS Jama Masjid, Delhi, B.FIR No. 0500/2023 under Section 420/467/468 of IPC, PS Saket, South District, New Delhi, and C.FIR No. 0289 of 2021 under section 498A/406/34 of IPC registered at PS Jamia Nagar, South East Delhi.

2. During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties have arrived at a settlement dated 11.09.2024 before the Mediation Centre, Saket Court wherein all the cases have been settled and the complainant Ms. Adeeba Asif has to be paid Rs.6,50,000/- in all.

3. A sum of Rs. 4,50,000 was paid already and balance sum of Rs.2,00,000/- is paid today by way of Demand Draft.

4. The parties are already divorced as per Islamic Law.

5. Mr. Junaid Javed is present in Court and is identified by his counsel Mr. Syed Ajmal Hasan and Mr. Rahul Rohatgi and Ms. Adeeba Asif is present in Court and identified by Mr. Mohd. Asif, Adv.

6. Since the parties have arrived at a settlement and no disputes are pending, I am convinced that quashing of such proceedings on account of compromise would bring peace and would secure ends of justice. The Court does not see any fruitful purpose if criminal proceedings are permitted to be prosecuted any further.
