These petitions have been filed seeking quashing of cross FIRs being FIR No. 99/2023 under section 323/354/506/34 IPC, P.S. Nagar and FIR No. 98/2023 under section 308/323/3548/506/34 IPC, P.S. Baba Haridas Nagar, basis settlement arrived at between the parties dated 18th October 2024, which is on record of this Court. 2.

Petitioners and complainants / respondents in both these petitions are present in Court and are duly identified by IO and their respective counsels and state they have amicably settled their disputes and settlement amount has been received by petitioners in CRL.M.C. 8378/2024. Petitioners in CRL.M.C. 8378/2024 acknowledge the same. Complainants in each case have no objection to quashing of the cross FIRs. 3.

Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of these FIRs as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No.99/2023 and FIR No.98/2023 both registered at P.S. Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 5.

Accordingly, both these petitions are disposed of. Pending applications are disposed of as infructuous.
