The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking release of the provident fund dues to the petitioner. 2.

Ld. Counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 submits that the present writ petition is not maintainable in law. In support of this contention, reliance has been placed upon the judgments in W.P. (C) 7908/2015 titled Satya Sagar & Anr. vs. Air India (AIESL) ; W.P. (C) 5621/2016 titled Capt. Mahinder Pal Singh Pujji vs. Air India & Ors., and SLP (C) Nos. 23441-23444 of 2022 titled as Mr R.S Reddy Madireddy and Anr. Etc. vs Union Of India & Ors Etc. It is contended that, pursuant to the disinvestment and subsequent takeover of Air India by Tata Industries, Air The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. India has become a private entity; consequently, the present writ petition is not maintainable.

Despite service, none appears on behalf of the Petitioner. It appears that the Petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the present matter. 4.

In view of the above, and for want of prosecution, the writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
