This captioned Criminal Miscellaneous Petition was disposed of on 25.09.2025 with a direction to the prosecution to conclude the investigation within a period of four months. Thereafter, the petitioners filed the present application dated 06.02.2026 seeking a peremptory direction to the Commissioner of Police, Delhi, to ensure strict and timebound compliance with the order dated 25.09.2025. 2.

By order dated 17.02.2026, this Court recorded as follows: "3. Mr. Ajay Vikram Singh, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, upon instructions from Mr. Pankaj Arora, Assistant Commissioner of Police ["ACP"], who is present in Court, states that the FSL report has been received only towards the end of January CRL.M.C. 6896/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 2026. He further submits that the prosecution sanction has also been received in respect of petitioner No.1, and has been sought in respect of petitioner Nos. 2 and 3.

4. The ACP undertakes before this Court that the investigation will be completed within a period of two weeks from today, and the final report will be filed.

5. The affidavit of compliance be filed by 11.03.2026." 3.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police has now filed an affidavit dated 10.03.2026 stating that the chargesheets have been filed on 28.02.2026 and that the next date of hearing before the learned Special Court is 19.03.2026. A copy of the affidavit is taken on record. 4.

In view of the above, no further orders are required in the present application, which stands disposed of.

It is made clear that all rights and contentions of the parties in the proceedings before the learned Special Court remain reserved.
