Prayer B of the instant writ petition, requiring the Central Bureau of Investigation to investigate a matter with regard to filing of an affidavit in a contempt case, is not maintainable. The same is dismissed.

So far as prayer for implementing provisions of revised pay scales as per DPE guidelines with regard to 246 senior
citizens/retired employees of the Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. is concerned, it is for the respondents to take a view in the matter.

The writ petition is therefore disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1 to treat this writ petition as a representation and take a view on the matter within eight weeks from today. In any case, the decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner-association through its secretary, Mr. Dhanpati Rai (address- W-99, Chander Shekhar Azad Gali, Babarpur, Shahdara, Delhi-110032).

In case the petitioner no.1 is still aggrieved by the decision which is taken, it shall be open for him to invoke a remedy in accordance with law.
