CRL.M.(BAIL) 1973/2024 (seeking extension of I.B. for 15 days by petitioner).

By way of present application, the petitioner/applicant seeks extension of interim bail for a period of 15 days granted to him vide order dated 12.11.2024 in RC0032024A0021 dated 03.07.2024 registered under Section 7 PC Act and Section 61(2) BNS at P.S. CBI/ACB, New Delhi to enable him to conduct the medical tests of his father, who is stated to be a cancer survivor.

Notice is accepted by learned SPP for the respondent/CBI who opposes the application.

of two weeks on account of illness of his father and daughter vide order dated 12.11.2024.

Considering the totality of the facts and circumstances and the medical documents produced, the applicant's interim bail granted vide order dated 12.11.2024 is further extended by another period of one week on the same terms as contained in the order dated 12.11.2024. 6.
The applicant is directed to surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent on expiry of the extended period of interim bail. 7.
In view of the above, the application is disposed of. 8.
Copy of the order be communicated to the concerned Jail Superintendent electronically for information and necessary compliance.
